Possibly Jacen Solo mourning his Grandfather Darth Vader. Rey may be his sister Jaina Solo that he must fight in the tradition of the Skywalker family battles. Kylo Ren becomes Darth Revan who leads the First Order Stormtroopers to hunt the Jedi. Grand Master Snokes at Star Killer Base has a specific use for him. 555!
Also, the desert planet seen in the trailers is NOT Tattooine but Jakku where Rey lives as a scavenger with that round rolling robot!

Remember that we didn't learn about Lukes ancestry until episod 2 (i.e 5). It would be very much in the SW vein to end episode 7 with such a question hanging for episode 8. Depending on how they execute it such an ending might be the best/worst cliffhanger of all time...
I don't know all the answers but it looks that way by the posters which feature Rey vs Darth Revan. Probably because they are brother and sister. Any question concerns Poe Cameron, "best star pilot in the galaxy"... any connection to Skywalker? J.J. Abrams promised a reimagining of the Star Wars universe and chronology as in the Star Trek franchise! Anything is possible. We get to go back to the Sith homeworld too to find an artifact that will put the Sith back on top... stay tuned...

I feel the same way looking at this as I did when Weird Al''s The Saga Begins first came out--a bit out of the loop. I love that you two collaborated on this, I would love to see more Arwen competing in our Artistry competition!
I haven't seen the trailer but I'm not completely out of the loop here. There were a bunch of funny lines about who it could be like Jar Jar Binks' son. I hope not!

Not a chance TCOP as Kylo Ren was born after the Battle of Endor. Both Kylo Ren (Darth Revan) and Rey are roughly 25 years old. The family battle is theirs, seen in the trailers and the new posters. They are the Solo twins Jacen and Jaina. Darth Vader was their grandfather on Leia's side. Both have Force potential...
