The Lyrics

Hot girl on the hood of a car= SEXY. Hot girl that actually knows what to do underneath the hood= SEXIER
Verse 1: Hey Hood Girl, got your hands on my belt
I bet you can cause vibrations that I've never felt
I'm just a hood boy, and with cars I'm the worst
So, you're gonna rev my engine, do my oil change first
You get my motor runnin', each of my cylinders three
I hear the dashboard hummin', cause my vehicles to sing
Hey Hood Girl, am I movin' too fast?
You leave me feelin' like I'm full gassed

Chorus: Why?! Do you put my car in drive?!
But won't let me get a ride?
I think it's my service time, you're sublime
It's that Hood Girl, good girl pit crew
Who's best at gettin' air into my rear wheels too
She blows, blo-o-ows, blo-o-ows...
Get a fine for speedin'
Not slow, slo-o-ow, slo-o-ow...

Verse 2: Hey Hood Girl, you pushed me off the road
My engine's overheated, from towing this big load
Maybe we should girl, like every hood girl does
Get passenger seated, it's starting to buzz
Now let's get this car a'flyin', yeah will leave'em in the dust
I have the chrome and leather, you supply the thrust
Hey Hood Girl, you're heaven sent
Thinkin' back to then, honey
I've wondered where you've been?

Chorus: Why?! Get my RPMs so high?!
Feel it vibrate up my thighs!
Follow all of the signs, 'til I find
Got a Hood Girl, good girl for me
Like the hybrid models, gettin' top MPGs
Let's go, go-o-o, go-o-o...
Yeah, yeah, yeah!
She's so dope!
Yeah, yeah, yeah…

Bridge: Oh she's my Hood Girl! Good girl for me!
Installed a NOS tank for me, now we hit MACH 3!
Yeah!

Chorus: Why?! Didn't realize cars could fly!
She's the Lambo of my eye!
Been the time of my life, what a find?
She's so good! On my hood!
And she fixes what's inside!
She's a high-octane dime, and she's mine!
She's my Hood Girl, good girl for me
She turned my clunker lifestyle into Ferrari

You could of went a few ways with this parody. First of all there's the Ghetto Hood Girl next there's the Little Red Riding Hood Girl and even though I'm a car dealer I didn't even think of the Grease Monkey kind of Hood Girl. This was a fun parody!
Ordinary Guy - January 14, 2015 - Report this comment
"Could of went"? Matthias, you're an illiterate from whom I wouldn't buy a used car.
Blaydeman - January 14, 2015 - Report this comment
@Ordinary Guy And you are a pompous jerk. Why was that even necessary. Seriously, why go around anonymously posting insults like that? Does that make you feel superior in some way? What is it? Do you get your rocks off by calling out people's grammar mistakes? Next time, keep it to yourself. No one wants to read anything you say. Now you've ruined a compliment that "could of been" something nice to start my day. Thank you for that. "I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul."
Blaydeman - January 14, 2015 - Report this comment
I'm aware it's "could have been", that's why I quoted "could of been" in support of my boy, Mathias. It's a simple mistake, and it doesn't make him illiterate, as he's able to read and write (which by definition makes him literate). For someone that knows so much about grammar, you're not that great at reading a sentence.
Ordinary Guy - January 14, 2015 - Report this comment
Your boy is Matthias," not "Mathias."
Agrimorfee - January 14, 2015 - Report this comment
All this negativity coulda been avoided. OG shoulda stayed in bed.
Blaydeman - January 14, 2015 - Report this comment
So, do typos make someone illiterate? Like you've never made a spelling mistake in your life. Get off your pedestal and get your head out of your rear.

Why are my parodies bringing out all the jerks? This is two in a row. They're not even directed at my parody. I can handle that, but there's no need to attack the people who comment on my stuff. I need to protect my readers.

A personal attack is one of the valid reasons for reporting abusive comments. Have you tried using the "Report this comment" link?

Is there nobody here who will defend the jewel of our civilization: the English language? Apparently, this site, populated by alleged writers, thinks that a passionate -- even harsh -- critique of an eyesore of a phrase is trivial, and worse, a personal attack. You defend ignorance and slovenliness. "You could of went..." should be "You could have gone..." One doesn't have to be a fastidious Henry Higgins or a grammarian or a stuck-up élite to flinch in revulsion. The real offense is the original blighted phrase. It's the equivalent of picking your nose in public or body odor or lack of personal grooming. See how far you can get in an interview for a good job, using "You could of went..." See the quality of your friends, kids, and life. For God's sake, you should appreciate that I'm one more who brings this to your attention.

I like men.

Hooray for O.G. and friend. Shame on the apologists for sloth. And double shame on the usurper creep who wrote, "I like men."
Blaydeman - January 15, 2015 - Report this comment
This isn't a grammar forum or an English forum. We're not writing dissertations or persuasive essays. This is a parody forum. We write parodies. Parody and satire are not beholden to proper linguistics. In fact, quite the opposite. Satire was birthed from lower class ideals. Those who were considered to be "illiterate" and "uneducated" are responsible for the creation of this great art form. Using the phrase "could of been" does not make you stupid. I'm sure your mechanic speaks much differently from you, but I bet he also knows a hell of a lot more about cars than you do. Parody is great because anyone can do it, from upper to middle to lower class. Assuming everyone was afforded the same opportunities for education as you and to shame them for it is rude, arrogant, and ignorant. This is a site for growth and support. You could easily have said, "it's 'could have gone'", but there was no reason to add insults. If all you want to do is abolish poor grammar, go ahead and do that, but personal attacks and insults aren't needed for that. If you're a person of such high standing as you're leading me to believe, then you understand this, right? Let's change things for the better.
Ordinary Guy - January 15, 2015 - Report this comment
Your "anyone can do it"description of parody and your Everyman concept of satire are ludicrous beyond belief.
Blaydeman - January 15, 2015 - Report this comment
It's not an "anyone can", it's an "anyone is welcome to try." It's very elitist of you to think otherwise. And that's not what Amiright is about. And I feel sorry for you that you can't see that, and could be missing out on some great satire because your snooty views are all you can perceive.
Agrimorfee - January 15, 2015 - Report this comment
Thank you, Jebediah Atkinson. Hey, Blaydeman, just walk away from it...
Blaydeman - January 16, 2015 - Report this comment
You've listed 2 people that approach the subject in one way, but there are multiple perspectives. I'm sure those brilliant artists you've referenced can appreciate and acknowledge the importance and necessity of diverse backgrounds and values in the creation of art. Surely, we can agree on that. I'm finished with this conversation because I'm embarrassed that it's gone this far. I will no longer be responding directly to you. But just one question, which you don't need to answer, if writing is for only the elite, why do you bear the moniker "Ordinary Guy"? Now please vacate my page and leave it to those who read my parodies for enjoyment and without fear so they may say anything that will help me grow as an artist. Thank you.
Max Power - January 17, 2015 - Report this comment
Whoever thought this parody would wind up like a Hollywood film, gets blown out of proportion. Usually this sort of thing occurs in Robert's parodies (although his case tends to involve much stranger events).
Max Power - January 19, 2015 - Report this comment
Blay, have you seen an old episode of "The Twilight Zone" called "A Piano in the House"? I wouldn't be surprised if OG turns out like the protagonist when a certain tune of the piano plays. In the end, he has nothing and the best he can do is to trash others for something he couldn't do (although it doesn't take that much effort but then again I guess he's one of those who thinks he's too good for it).
Blaydeman - January 20, 2015 - Report this comment
I didn't delete them, but yeah I would like if we all tried to stay away from negativity for a while.

That escalated fastly... That's right Ordinary Guy. I used the word "fastly" which isn't really a word at all. What are you gonna do about it? Insult me some more?
Bill - January 22, 2015 - Report this comment
Matthias, please stop licking your wounds and take seriously the sermon of OG. You will be the better for it. Our good friend Giorgio, as himself, has backslid into cryptic blurbs, which are barely decipherable and probably inaccurate. But as Make-Believe Forever, he freed himself to write with flair and to ignore the ignorant shrieks of élitism. You might benefit from wearing a mask of pseudoanonymity.

(Artistry) Wow, this was awesome! Honestly surprised the modern bro-country movement hasn't done this kinda thing already, but that would mean they'd have to stop writing about their legs, and I don't think that's gonna stop anytime soon. Superb work, 555!
Abbott Skelding - January 27, 2015 - Report this comment
Overall this was a pretty okay parody. The pacing was spot on, and the rhymes were pretty good...but it just wasn't laugh out loud funny to me. It was solid storytelling, but nothing really memorable to me.
