Doc Brown is a scientist, so the Gigawatt deliberate misspelling is bad news. Ruined the fun for me. Btw, if BTTF 4 ever gets made, Delorean has a new model DMC 15. If you even care.
@ Concerned: Please think logically here; if you're in a situation (even as a movie character) where you have to ask what a jiggawatt/gigawatt is - then you obviously don't know the spelling for sure either.
Now go read some lyrics by bands like Slade or artists like Prince until you get the point of alternative spelling as a point for its own sake.
