Okay, a couple of notes as I know I'm going to get hit a few times on this one. This song IS BENEATH ENRIQUE. I don't care what others think or what he says defending the song, but look at his discography, listen to his talented voice, and then this song. Its a sell out song, a song that had great potential and a fantastic beat, that went to the dogs. I actually kinda like the song itself, just not from Enrique, its not his style at all, and it doesn't sound natural from him. . .I could see Ludacris doing it, I could see Madonna doing it, heck I could see ME doing it, but not Enrique. I also am SICK of rappers getting verses in songs where they really add NOTHING to the song (which this original is no exception). Kanye West ruined Katy Perry's E.T. and Daft Punk's Harder Better Faster Stronger (sorry I think Kanye West bragging about himself has nothing to do with either song). 3oh3 (Worst rap group ever btw) ruined Ke$ha's Blah Blah Blah. Rihanna's Raining Men would be so much better without Nicki Minaj and she clearly outshines Eminem in their duet as well, about the only times I like a rap/pop combo is when the rap adds something to the song, as it did in Umbrella. . .and that's hard to say because I like very little of Jay-Z (Run This Town is a particularly cringing song, that shows Rihanna herself in a song with lyrics she would never support--but that's the show business, anything for money right?) Anyway--done rambling for now--all my opinion, love the beat here, its who's singing the lyrics that kinda got me tied up.

I disagree with you on sampling rap in pop songs... For one reason and one reason alone. Thriller isn't nearly as cool without Vincent Price rapping towards the end. Okay two reasons Black and White has a section of rap as well that is awesome. Both Michael Jackson but both important rebuttals to your above statement. Plus, I haven't heard this original song yet but I'll take your word on it.

Katy Perry featuring Kanye West in E.T., what did Kanye add--a verse bragging about himself and another doing simplistic rhymes about Mars? What did 3Oh3 Add to Kesha's Blah Blah Blah?. . .that's what I'm referring to, I didn't say every rap appearance in Pop is bad, I said ones that add nothing, which in my opinion is the majority. . .but NOT all of them, so I rebut your rebut

Holy moly, did Enrique REALLY make a song called THAT? That's like Santa Claus swearing or something! I will happily stick my hand up and say I'm not a huge rap fan, so I thought this parody was very smart and on the money. Nice job!
