The Lyrics

Here's a song all about monsters in Halloween.
Well, I woke to the rise, sun going down
Stale taste of bloody, still bad on my mouth
Hell bend of demons, ghost in my hand
Another day in the life of the monster man
La de da

Well last night was a good night as I reached in my ghost
Scaring up ones, a few blood in between
And a red head named Willow, she's still fast asleep
Made me make her a promise, she knows I can't look
La de da

Time to fire up that red man creatures of rust
Throw my amp and my case in the back of my car
Breathing my freedom, vampires rolled down
Forty-six miles till the next nameless town
La de da

Well, the place is still bloody when I walk in the door
Stench from the ghost, spilling up through the drip
Give a nod to sweet Katie, she mixes the fear
Life's been hard on her, but she's been good to me
La de da

Off in the demons
Stands a stool and a stage
Where many drops before me were put on display
I take one last breath, time to pay some more dues
That won't add up to nothing but tips and cheap drop

Yeah, the bolt of my labor is when the blood drips along
Nothing short of a vampire, I go home alone
I'm an empty, faceless creature mic-stand
I'll getcha high, I'll getcha low
I'm the monster man

Well they'll ask for more zombies and I'll play with a bloody
To help them hold on or forget for a while
They can fill up that demons with a week's worth of ghosts
But it can't feel their happy and it can't feel their pain

No bloods, no wolves, no sweet drinking
It's all in a ghost and it's all on me
Won't find nothing fancy I'm a tired one man blood
I'm the picking and grinning monster man

Yeah the ghosts of my labor's when the blood drops along
Nothing short of a vampire, I go home alone
I'm an empty, faceless vampire mic-stand
I'll getcha high, I'll getcha low, I'm the monster man yeah

Well I had me a pretty bloody, thought she was the one
But she soon grew tired, this love on the run
Said she felt second, told me I had to choose
She's back in Columbus and I'm here with you

The end of the day, we'll all be best friends
Then strangers till I roll through town again
I'll yell out hey Mary something blood in a can
One for the road for the monster man

Yeah the ghosts of my labor's when the blood drops along
Nothing short of a vampire still I go home alone
I'm an empty, faceless demonic mic-stand
I'll getcha high, I'll getcha low, I'm the monster man yeah
I'll play em fast, I'll play em slow, I'm the monster man
Yeah
I'm the monster man!

I was rather disappointed that this wasn't the same song as the Bread hit. I feel you didn't change enough lyrics, and the parody didn't make much sense because of it. So, he's a monster who's also a touring musician of some sort?
