Parody Song Title:

"Of How You Took That Round"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

This is another parody of one of Gaga's unreleased songs (#13) and is also a continuation of my parodies dealing with the "Dark Knight Massacre" which is unpopular, but worth covering ALL aspects. I was going to stop yesterday but someone had to 1-bomb me and it made me want to continue on and NOT give in just b/c someone didn't like the REAL topic of tragedy. This one deals with one of the girls saved by a REAL HERO that night that shielded his G/F and took a round that took his life. It is a dedication to that kind of real heroism of the moment and his G/F's reflection of the life-changing event (as unfortunate as it was and is).
Oh God No!
Be brave…

Our last time we had to talk
At a Midnight Showing in our seats
Would enjoy some “Dark Knight” fun
Looking back now it is so hard to believe

God, how I wish we had more time
But now it’s all over and you’re dead
Can’t recall your final words
The small talk that you last said

But I will not forget
You loved me, Baby

The terror of that night makes it hard for me to think
So emotional because we were young and full of love
Lost. How can I go forward now?
I’ll always remember how you took that round

For me…

Somehow I know that although you’re gone, you’re still here with me
But still can’t block that image of your blood splattered on our seats
Lost. How can I go forward now?
I’ll always remember how you took that round

For me…

Of how you took that round

For me…

Why this happened, no one knows
Or WHY we BOTH couldn’t escape
Losing you I feared the most
You shielded me, your body draped

Over me…

Everyone was running out
The gunman was filled with rage
No hesitation- pushed me down
As the killer approached with a 12 Gauge

Then you were blown away, you let go
So sad that your life was short

It shattered my heart, of course...

For me…

Will always remember our last kiss
But I know that things will never be the same
Know that I’ll always love you, Baby
When you took that round it was my life you saved

A hero, so brave!

Angels carried you heaven-bound
