Parody Song Title:

"Take Me Seriously"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

This will by my last Miley parody for a while. Again, this parody can (kind of, sort of) by applied to most musicians today who are trying to sound "deep" or "thoughtful" (even though this specifically references Miley). Some singers think their music is art and has a deeper message. What if Miley was the same way? All of her twerking and "showing how adult she is", could just mean something that we don't understand. Or, she could just be skanky for the sake of being skanky...Original Song
My songs aren’t fake, it brings me pain
People trashing me online
“You skank!”, they yell, “Just go to hell!
You’re dumb!” But I just ask ‘why?’

Parents look away
“She cannot be saved”
My song’s too smart for you
It would blow your mind, know the truth behind
All my music, ‘cause you...

Don’t like the words of my new song
You prob’ly got the message wrong
All I wanted was to sound so smart
Get little girls just to listen to me
Please take me ser-i-ous-ly

Watch with your eyes, try to not cry
My vid-e-o when it’s on
I only twerk
To help you learn
The truth, that troubles are abound

My songs, in a way
Should bring women strength
Do what your heart tells you
You know children die from sharks ev’ry night
You don’t see that, do you?

I’m naked on this wrecking ball
It’s clearly just a metaphor
I’m an artist, please just hear my songs
This sledgehammer symbols po-ov-er-ty
I look just like a naked doll
It looks like I am having fun
But it represents the rise and fall
Of the former Vice-Prez Dick Che-e-ney
Please take me ser-i-ous-ly

This next line is about the war
Something that you’re way too dumb to get
You just remember, of course
Was the fact that I was naked
You people don’t know re-al art
You can’t fe-el all the pain I’m in
I guess that means the terr’ists win

This song’s for the gays
Clearly, every way
Message went right past you

This song is for the working moms
Strong women working seven jobs
All I hope is that you hear my song
Feel empowered, want to be just like me
My tears are like a shopping mall
They shut down stores by mom and pops
But you morons won’t get it at all
This song is about the e-con-o-my
Please take me ser-i-ous-ly
Please take me ser-i-ous-ly

I'd rather see Miley Cyrus symbolizing the rise and fall of Dick Cheney than to see Dick Cheney (or Chaney's D...) swinging naked through the air.

There's a difference between being mature and being mature yet explicit. All of this is making her a bait to victim-blaming and unwanted publicity.
