Three kids in the Palo
One was female, two were boys
Bluegrass strings and violin bows
Became her favorite toys
And though they sounded different
They filled her house with joy
With the way she played
A chickadee flew up one day
And warned her to beware
A witch named Alopecia
Would come and steal away her hair
And every girl and boy in school
Would turn and stop and stare
As she walked by

She was a trial for Molly T
It made her grow .. resiliently

The normal folks were hesitant
In showing their goodwill
The grownups would come up to her
And ask if she was ill
And it seemed the more she used her wigs
The odder she felt still
As the years went by
But Molly had some knowledge
That proved to be godsend
She knew that there were others
And forever they'd be friends
And thats the way she knew
Her sense of otherness would end
Cause she's not alone

They fought the witch with Molly T
They helped to cure despondency

People say she's different
And her way of life is strange
She took the road less traveled
Twist and turns along the way
And like her Alopecia friends
She grows stronger every day
Cause they're by her side
A young man drinks his life away
Cause his parents didnt care
A mother loses child at birth
And gives into despair
So who is she to curse the fates
For the loss of a little hair
Just a little hair
