The horror! The horror! I wanted to shake my dying parody skills back to bone-rattling life for Halloween - so during the Night Shift I took my muse for The Long Walk to the Pet Cemetery, Salem's Lot and the Dead Zone. The results? I've already told you - plain horror!

(SOTM) Spooky fun. This is the main(e) attraction here! Isn't Night Shift a Michael Keaton/Henry Winkler comedy? Directed by Opie, I mean Ron Howard? DKTOS, but it f'n rocks! This is too good for a 555. I'm giving this a 666! (pun intended)
This came out at exactly the right time! Well, now it's Thanksgiving but I remember reading this when you posted it around Halloween. Not sure why I didn't comment or vote then but this is pretty brilliant.
Oct 2012 SOTM: I enjoyed the parody and loved the main(e) reference back to Mr King. Still trying to work out if the original band are really taking themselves that seriously!
Fun parody, and I also really enjoyed the 'main(e) concern' stanza, as well as 'Partying with the dungeon keep'. Well done Peter
(SOTM) To be honest, I didn't really enjoy this parody, mainly because it was so vague as to why being buried next to Stephen King is a bad idea. Maybe I'm just not aware enough of King's works, but all I got from this was a lot of generic Halloween imagery with King's name stapled to it. Just my opinion, but this parody didn't really say anything.
(SOTM) For some reason I was thinking that the OS was going to be "Bury Me Not on the Lone Prairie"... Liked the TNT line and of course the main(e) reference too. Put a line in your will "Keep me out of Jerusalem's wood lot"
Never heard the OS before, but that title was ripe for spoofing and you nailed it. Nice work!
(SOTM) I'm a huge fan of Stephen King's work (specifically The Shining and It) and I loved all the references in this. I can see what TCOP is saying though. If you don't know anything about Stephen King, this parody would be a bit generic and hard to understand. I also agree that it doesn't state why being next to Stephen King would suck. I think you could've just left the title at "Stephen King" and you could've just paid homage to a truly amazing and talent author. Either way, it was scary good!
SOTM...Stephen King has been a favorite of mine since high school, and this had me giggling. Nice job!
