Original Song Title:

"Home"

Original Performer:

Parody Song Title:

"Clones"

Parody Written by:

Patrick McWilliams

The Lyrics

"Home" is one of the best new songs I've heard this year. It was the "coronation song" on "American Idol". Phillips performed it just before the All Star Game in Kansas City. The title sort of rhymes with another word I've used in a few songs over the years.
Stay close to me as we go
To a lab in a secret place I know
I know the sequence of DNA, it's long
Won't have to fight alone
'cause I'm gonna make myself some clones

Saddle up! Victory is near!
We'll strike at dawn at and we'll fill all our foemen with fear
When recruiting quotas are down
And good soldiers are nowhere to be found
Don't need to fight alone
'cause I'm gonna wage this war with clones

(long instrumental and wailing and moaning)

Battlefield, enemy is near
If you get killed all your buddies will split up your gear*
The snipers they might shoot you down
And there are landmines too easily found
But if to hell you're blown
I guess I'll just make some brand new clones
*Saw this on a tee shirt at a gun show: "If you die, we're splitting up your gear".

I see you're back to one of your favorite topics-555! I need to do a clone parody but the Nazis only got as far as the Lebensborn program of crude genetic manipulation. It worked, but in the end they preferred the D.IX drug to turn all their soldiers into robotic zombie killers!

I remember seeing a made for TV movie about an American woman visiting Germany who discovers that she was the product of a Lebensborn match up. Had a big bank account waiting for her that she never knew about either. She was riding on a train and a bunch of Cockney football hooligans were singing "Die Fahne Hoch" because they knew it was verboten and would offend some of the passengers.
