The Lyrics
The video game and show "Defiance" is a Sci-Fi Western drama akin to "Firefly." It is set in 2046- 33 years after aliens arrived in Ark Ships from Votanis. Peaceful settlement was destroyed when the Votanis Ambassador was murdered at the UN and the Pale Wars began with human against the aliens. But in former St. Louis a few defiant ones decided to band together and live in harmony instead. Here, the humans, Indogene, Castithan, Irathient, Liberata, Sensoth, and Gulani can live together in peace apart from the Earth Republic and Votanis Collective regions.
