The Lyrics

My homage to Pixar...long may it last...and may it NEVER get sold to Disney. The reference to Apple is that most computer animation is done on Apple computers. I would think this is especially true at Pixar, since Steve Jobs, co-creator of Apple Computers is the CEO at Pixar.
Computer animation, I know,
It was what made a film hit of Finding Nemo.
It was all the shades, none were white and black,
Although it took years to make they didn't slack, dear.

Computer animation is keen,
So many Apples -- it's really obscene.
It's John Lassiter at the core...Pixar's heart, dear
Animation's the best part.

A blue fish that they named Dory.
Voiced by Ellen DeGeneres from TV
It took quite awhile, her voice onto tape,
She even made a funny of the word 'escape', dear

Dory had a charm, she was sweet,
But she had a brain firmly set on "delete".
She and Marlin bonded in the EAC, dear
It evoked a tear from me.

Computer animation, I'm told,
It is just like everything else -- bought and sold.
It could stay with Jobs, or off to Disney,
Mike Eisner's red ink, Disney's sinking at sea, dear.

Now there's this lawsuit from this chap,
Who says Pixar stole his tale, it's quite a flap.
Still Pixar, "I love you", each doll, fish and bug, dear
To John Lassiter -- A HUG!!!

FYI--the original song that Sherman parodied is "Fascination". I don't know who wrote it or originally recorded it, but it is associated with old Hollywood native-French singers like Maurice Chevalier.

Thanks Agrimorfee, I looked into the original...but it was only 3 stanzas long...and the third stanza was just a repeat of the second stanza...so it was too short. Also, most people know Sherman's song...rather than the original...so it only made sense to do the parody based on Sherman's song. Thanks for your vote and your comment.
