(If you're curious, the title isn't reffering to a bible-verse; it's just I'm already planning an alternate version of this one!)
I managed to pen this in one sitting on Christmas day. I kind of have a mix here of serious and mildly funny lrics, not like most of my other works. I guees I felt like making a few jabs of my own at commercialism. As for the lines about the original meaning of Christmas, I am NOT trying to force religion down anyone's throat, so please don't take it that way.
And, unfortunately, I have seen homeless people (who don't have any addictions--they're just in a financial rut), who've been told off by the cops when they weren't even bothering anyone, so I'm not making that stuff up.
In closing, I do have relatives who have chosen to not keep in touch.

Just Wii's and Playstations
With kids in their thrall
It's the cash-nabbingest season of all...

While most cops and businesses say,
"We don't want you, the homeless
You're poor and below us,
So shrivel up and go away!"

They're all dysfunctional pains in the rear

Our Lord was born here
