The Lyrics

The Boston Celtics have the most championships in the NBA and have been playing on the parquet floor for years, so here is a song about the Celtics history and its players.
Bill Russell, Yeah he's got it
And Bill Cousy, Yeah, he too got it
All in common with winning a championship on the parquet (Just another one)
Baby (Just Another one)
the parquet floor (Just Another one)
Now (just another one)

John Hav-li-chek, stole the ball
Larry Bird, had it all
also in common, with winning titles on the parquet floor (just another one)
Baby (just another one)
the parquet floor (just another one)
Listen (just another one)

In '85 the Lakers
were just money
in Game 6,
the green was funny,
Told Magic, to take that title, when we are vistors at home. (Eighty, eighty, eighty, eighty, eighty, eighty, eighty, eighty-five)
(Just Another one, Just Another one)

(Instrumental Break)

Oh, The Celtics, still were money,
by '86, made Rockets funny,
and it gave the Celtics, that sweet 16 title. (sweet, sweet, sweet, sweet, sweet, sweet, sweet, sweet 16)
(Just another one) Now (Just another one)

C-E-L-T-I-C-S
McHale, Bird and Ainge, oh yes,
C-E-L-T-I-C-S
Cousy and the rest
Oh (pass it to 'em) (8x)
the big Celtics
Oh, Yeah (Just Another one)
The Big Celtics (Just Another one)
Time is runnin' out (Just another one)
Just Keep tryin (just another one)
Title's on the line (just another one)
Hondo's flyin' (just another one)
(sweet) (8x) On the parquet floor (sweet 16)
There will be a Boston Celtics game on the Boston Garden floor

It must've been nice for all those Celtics to ride up Commonwealth Avenue in their Model Ts, then going down to Washington to meet with President Coolidge. (I would've said Wilson, but Coolidge is a funnier name. Right, Jennifer?)
