The Lyrics

For anybody who doesn't drink wine, T-Bird is what winos call Thunderbird wine, which my parents apparently drank in their college days because it is so cheap
Well, I mock my parents' songs that they use to play 'remember when' now
Cream she forgets but he shouts the Chuck Berry and they still like 'Old Man' now
When I play Radiohead she starts boozin' just as fast as she can now
And she ain't done done done 'till my daddy takes her T-Bird away

Well my mom can't stand it when I mock, says it brings her disgrace now
(She talks like she's spaced out, she talks like she's spaced)
She says my windy jive punners are nothin' but a big waste of space now
(A big waste of space now, a big waste of space)
She's got a 'Catcher In The Rye' but she keeps her Holden Caulfield face down
(She's red in the face now, she's red in the face)
She ain't no nun nun nun when my daddy feeds her T-Bird all day
(Fun fun fun when my daddy feeds her T-Bird all day)

Well she drew on his bong while my dad was gone to buy some booze now
(He went to buy booze now, he went to buy booze)
And when she acted like a tease he was thinkin' he had nothin' to lose now
(Had nothin' to lose now, had nothin' to lose)
But when he came along came me and he's wishin' there was something he'd used now
(Wishin' he'd used now, wishin' he'd used)
They had a son son son, daddy wished he'd took her T-Bird away

Next time he'll run run run when my mom's been drinkin' T-Bird all day

Run run run when my mom's been drinkin' T-Bird all day

Ooo woo, ooo woooooooo

Run run when my mom's been drinkin' T- Bird all day

Dee - nice stagger down memory lane here. My Brother David and his best friend had this jingle about Thunderbird. I remember it started out "What's The Word?".."Thunderbird"...and the next line I think referred to it's price, perhaps using the coin denominations that would purchase a "short dog" of this infamous swill. I'm passing you 3 nickels toward that short dog for this parody.
