This is reference to the 1956 film Anastasia. As we know the real one was proven by DNA evidence to have been killed with the rest of her family. The fraudster Ana Anderson was a real loon and became an old hag. Sad.

Anastasia was there all right ... why else would Mick Jagger sing, "Anastasia screamed in vain" Thats all the proof I need ... I hear the Stones are gonna tweak "Sympathy" with the change "I shouted out who killed the Kennedy's .. When after all, it was the CIA."
I didn't know that was in the lyrics. Yup, Mick was a CIA assassin on the side, along with Chuck Barris. Obviously he killed JFK to pave the way for the British Invasion ;-p
