The Lyrics

These are the Beatle songs I wrote about my Ex. I put them on just in case I drop dead and she's inclined to look at this site in my honor. Please don't vote, they are not intended to be funny, just a release of the anger I felt at the time.
Nothing as cruel as women mad, yes they're bad news
No place to run once they've begun to express views
Nothing to show, you have to go
I've got one thing to say now she's away
Good riddance, good riddance, good riddance

Going for broke it ain't a joke in a divorce
Saying "I do" you can't get through better or worse

Everybody hears the words of cussin'
Everyone is sick of all the fussin'
Everyone you know thinks she's a pain
But you ain't going back again

After a year it starts to clear like a bad dream
Treated like dirt you sooth the hurt with some ice cream
She'll never change she sounds the same
I've got one thing to say now she's away
Good riddance, good riddance, good riddance

People running round without a clue
Every little thing is blamed on you
There's something wrong with the ex-wife
It's time for her to get a life

Somebody's in a better place, glad that I'm here
Sharing a heart and making art every new year
Making a show I know she'll go
I've got one thing to say now she's away
Good riddance, good riddance, good riddance
Revenge is a dish best served with sarcasm.

Rick - Are you sure you don't want any votes on this? Pace is perfect and, personally speaking, I can appreciate sarcasm in the same vein as "funny". However, I will abide your wish. Anyway, some pointed anger, vented around the time of the event is a good release, and better yet, no physical harm is done to anyone. Me, I've always probably been at least half at fault (or more), but moaning and pathetic wimpering doesn't make much of a parody read. Well, got some things to do in about an hour and I just got up a few minutes ago. Will check back on the site later today.

Paul, anyone can vote if they want. I'm just not expecting much for "funny". I'll be back to that soon. was looking for a good time to post these when the site was screwed up.

Did you see (or were you in) War of the Roses? Good job, as usual, btw Rick!

See? You even say the site is screwed up and look what happens! Yes, Rod, I loved that movie. Except they didn't really kill the dog.

Again, my vote in the "funny" category is subjective. Let's face it, isn't some of the best writing generated "from a release of anger". Five in "funny" for the passion expressed. Five for chancing that we wouldn't relate to personal venting and for proving yourself wrong. Pacing was on. bob (still single after all these years)

Bob, you know what they call a bachelor? Someone who hasn't made the same mistake once.
