The Lyrics

Ah, the most parodied song on AmiRight...
Pepper spray
If your enemies won't go away
Don't just stand there, do not fear, I say
Just get them with your pepper spray

Pepper spray
Something you'll use most every single day
If you need to scare some thieves away
Just scream out "I have pepper spray!"

Robberies are stopped by a brandish of this stuff
Most don't like it much, on the eyes it can be rough

Pepper spray
Old folks use this stuff in every way
From buying groceries to laundry day
We all could use some pepper spray

Pepper spray is good if you need to stop a guy
Spray some in his eyes and he may curl up and die

Pepper spray
Its enthusiasts can fight away
Any threats in their personal space
Go out and buy some pepper spray

Watch out, I have pepper spray...

I know that Pepper Spray is available to use to defend yourself from assault or rape, but not everybody uses it. This song is talking about it being used by everybody, but actually not that many people have it. Only those living in communities where crime is frequent like major urban areas like the "dark ghettos" and "combat zones". Overall, it's a decent parody, but I would not say it's used every day. I personally would rather see them market and sell Nitrus Oxide gas, what surgeons knock you out with, for defending yourself because that's more humane and it doesn't suffocate anyone - it would just make them unconcious so they can't hurt the victim!

Very funny and good choice of OS. David, have you forgotten your friendly neighborhood postman? The folks who first carried the stuff? It's great for getting those mutts off the street.

well all I can say is when I used to teach women self defence classes, my favourite line was "just beat off the attacker.." better than pepper spray, just say "I have herpes" and spread em

I have a fair idea of where you got the idea for this one, makes me regret that I didn't see the potential for a full fledged parody on the subject myself. :-)

The line "Something you'll use most every single day" doesn't really roll of the tongue though, how about "Something you can use in many ways"?

Also, the word "personal" needs some creative pronounciation, but overall really good and funny. 455.

And don't mind this new David Prattle guy, he's still to realise that there's a reason that medical knock-out gases are not sold to the general public, and that is has to do with womens right to walk around safe (as far as that goes anyway).
