Parody Song Title:

"Our Sinful Sly Campaign"

Parody Written by:

Linda Terhune

The Lyrics

... Desperate men use desperate measures and lose all ethics to reach their goal. The Democrat party, desperate to win elections again - is no exception ...
Our sinful sly campaign
disrespect and disdain
will never disappear
'less we're majority here
we're gunna get our way
or the country will pay

We love our nasty fight
screw our men's family's plight
the dead we will display ......
for this war they'll pay
and don't you tell a soul
Hillary's pro war you know? ....

All the time we're pro terror
it makes our side look good
and since we've got no platform oh
we've been nasty as we could

But still no hand we'll give
it's been years - we won't forgive
the right for beating us
temper tantrums - a plus!
we love our hateful jeers
we make such miserable years

our leaders don't look like much
for the country - and such
just make the right look bad
we want our country sad ...
don't do a single thing
but whine & more hell bring

duh duh duh duh

With less than four months to the midterm elections, the latest Associated Press-Ipsos poll found that Americans by an almost 3-to-1 margin hold the GOP-controlled Congress in low regard and profess a desire to see Democrats wrest control after a dozen years of Republican rule.

"Duh duh duh duh..." If those last four words don't describe this song and its author perfectly.

5-2-2. No pacing issues, but the song itself wasn't even a mediocrity. Terhune sounds a peculiarly Finnish name, but certainly her opinions aren't shared at this side of the pond. If I am to be asked, the Iraqi adventure was nothing but Risikopolitik (as opposed to Realpolitik) - a sad misadventure resulting in skyrocketing oil prices, wasted US taxpayers' dollars, wasted highly trained professional soldiers' lives and complete chaos in Iraq - the country becoming a ripe fruit to fall on the Islamists' hands should the US pull its troops off. While I don't shed a single tear for a corrupt kleptocrat like Saddam, the wasted lives and taxpayers' dollars weren't worth of it.

I don't - honestly - care a damn what kind of people the politicians are or what their morals or ethics are. What I do care is what kind of results they achieve, and the record of the GOP during the past years hasn't been too good on behalf of Jane and Joe Average.

You Loon, where the hell are you getting your "facts" from? Best economy in over (sic) four decades? You are out of your mind. Is this garbage out of World Net Daily or Ann Coulter's mouth?
Michael Pacholek - July 18, 2006 - Report this comment
Must be from Coulter, or the American Spectator. WorldNetDaily is too highbrow for Linda.
Lionel Mertens - July 18, 2006 - Report this comment
Dear Linda, whoever designed the voting on this site didn't anticipate that people wouldn't always cover songs with humor. They didn't make provision for statements of opinions such as yours. To bad. Because I find your opinion entertaining. And so I'm voting a five. My leaning's are towards the GOP too but I have my own party. Wanna hear? You might think this isn't funny but here goes. I belong to the V.I.P. party. The Valid and Intriguing Party. Thanks for input and please post another parody. We love it when people aren't totally right.

Lionel Mertens thanks?

"Facts?" What's a "fact?" I thought our party line was "assert and assume!"

To all demoncrats here, yes the economy is thriving, and is doing better than clinton's ever did. Not only is this without slashing the defense at all, but increasing our defense budget to where it was before clinton. This is facts, especially from official government websites, not from the driveby media like ABS, NBS, CBS, DNCTimes, etc.
Proud NeoCon A true American - July 29, 2006 - Report this comment
Linda, great parody, it speaks the truth. BTW, head on over to almttr.proboards26.com.

Proud NeoCon A true American - you told them the truth, you are right - they just have problems with facts, (nothing new)... and thanks for the link, it's GREAT!
Immoral Liberal - July 31, 2006 - Report this comment
I'm sorry, what did you say the National debt was now? And the deficit? So we no longer have a budget surplus as we did under the great President Clinton? That's right you two, hit us with the facts. Now would these be the same official government websites that directed those in New Orleans to Pat Robertson's website? I've got to tell you, that Kool Aid must be really, really good. Linda, how is the asylum?
Proud American, Non-Kool Aid Drinker - July 31, 2006 - Report this comment
Mental patient, terrible parody, why don't you speak the truth. BTW, head on over to www.thenation.com.
Proud NeoCon A true American - August 04, 2006 - Report this comment
Linda, You're welcome. Demoncrats, even though the deficit is higher than it was under Clinton, he also slashed out defense in half and he also had a dot com bubble that burst before Bush got into office. And this is the truth from an official government website.
Linda - August 29, 2006 - Report this comment
Proud NeoCon A true American - you are right - and don't forget that Bush inherited a recession, (thanks billy), we have record breaking excess income do to the tax refunds and the LOWEST average unemployment, (both blowing Clinton out of the water), the 2nd highest national income raise (2nd only to the year after world war two) and Bush has had a lot of mandatory spending - again, thanks to the one who helped create 911 - Playboy Clinton! These bitter pills are just sore that they lost and are losers - pride does nasty stuff to people & demoncrats are the living proof!
Proud NeoCon A true American - February 16, 2018 - Report this comment
To all demoncrats here, once again the economy is thriving once again under GOP leadership. America is recovering from the nObama years. Soon you demoncrats will go into full autistic-type meltdown mode once your entitlement programs are gone and the FDM, or fake disease manual is eliminated. #MAGA
Average Joe - February 16, 2018 - Report this comment
The economy looks good on paper. But come to Detroit or any number of other cities in America. Everything is falling apart and the Middle Class gets shafted by Republicans almost as much as Democrats. Trump and his ilk only care for the rich. Pandering to ordinary folks is great pre-election, but the swamp ain't drained and I haven't gotten a penny richer off that orange hued buffoon yet. I won't hold my breath either.
Proud NeoCon A true American - February 19, 2018 - Report this comment
Ah yes, another intellectually bankrupt demoncrat coming to push more his/her/its socialist propaganda. Detroit was destroyed by both the many riots and the communists of the UAW. The final nail in the coffin was the city decided to go the path of communism when they elected demoncrats into office to make it yet another failed socialist experiment much like you whiny commie demoncrat terrorists are doing today. The jobs will return once the communists are pushed out of God's country and their failed socialist programs are all eliminated.
