The Lyrics

I wrote these lyrics with a girlfriend in 1976. I came across them nearly 30 years later on a yellowed, crumbling piece of paper. The words could now apply to my thoughts about that very girlfriend. Ironic, huh? Enjoy!

I'll love you never, no, not ever.
I hope I break your heart.

I'll make sure we're apart.

And if you ever find me
I'll run the other way.
And if you don't stop your chasing,
all your stalking and your pacing,
I'll do something so disgracing to you,

This was originally written in 1976? I thought the term "stalking" was much newer than that. Anyway, nice pacing and funny, albeit with a bit too much of the original remaining.
