Those are days that I'll remember
All my life like yesterday
I’ll remember it forever
I’ve had fun through my school days
Though I’ve had unpleasant moments
My teachers and friends I still can recall
Some have quit and some retired
But my God, I've loved them all

I’ve done megatons of homework
I’ve had bus rides, to and from school
And through first grade on through seventh
Elementary school is where I grew
Since I’ll always have the recollections
Of recess and gym, and algebra
I know I'll often talk to folks about them
Some good times were had by all
