Original Song Title:

"Monster Mash"

Original Performer:

Parody Song Title:

"Monster Mash Bash - 2008 Presidential Race"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

The music video uses the 2008 Presidential candidates images morphed into infamous characters from classic horror and sci-fi movies. These Pairody™ movie scenes are called “Movies of the Weak™” and include Dracula, Frankenstein, The Munsters, Freddy Kruger, and Men In Back. There are lots of sound “bites”, especially with the vampires … so sink your teeth into the song and video.“ See: “ATTACK OF THE 49TH STATE WOMAN” starring Sarah Palin “CREATURE FROM THE BARACK LAGOON” starring Barack Obama “THE DAY THE MIRTH STOOD STILL” starring John McCain “POLITICAL MUNSTERS” … And many more …
I was watching the polls late one night
When my eyes beheld an eerie sight
As the monsters began to rehearse their lies
Suddenly, to my surprise

They did the Bash
They did the Monster Bash
The Monster Bash
It was a Whitehouse smash
They did the Bash
It caught on like a rash
They did the Bash
It was a sound “bite” splash

From the legislature in the Congress East
To the masters’ chambers where bureau-rats feast
Numbskulls came from their flush abodes
To get a jolt from electoral votes

They did the Bash
They did the Monster Bash
The Monster Bash
It was a Whitehouse smash
They did the Bash
It caught on like a rash
They did the Bash
They did a sound “bite” splash

The lobbyists were having fun
Party politics had just begun
The stiffs included the “Dawn of the Red”
And the Blue-bloods, one by one

The scene was mocking, all were digging the sounds
Bill on sax, backed by his party clowns
The carpet baggers were about to arrive
with their local group, the Money Grubbing Five

They played the Bash
They played the Monster Bash
The Monster Bash
It was a Whitehouse smash
They played the Bash
It caught on like a rash
They played the Bash
They played a sound “bite” splash

Through all elections, their voices ring
Seems they’re troubled by just one thing
They’ll “COUNT” the votes, and shake their fists
And say, "Whatever happened to my Pennsylvania Avenue twist?”

It’s now the Bash
It’s now the Monster Bash
The Monster Bash
And it’s a Whitehouse smash
It’s now the Bash
It’s caught on like a rash
It’s now the Bash
It’s now the Monster Bash

Come Al Gore...
walk don’t “run”...
if that’s not too...
...inconvenient.

Great song. Might as well get some fun out of this election.

I viewed your double take site. You seemed to make your obvious pacing problems work in the "monster mash" audio parody. I think the best parts of your site are the movie posters. Thanks for adding your parody contribution through your site here on amiright. I gather the site name comes from the fact that your site claims that it was written by twins?
