The Lyrics
Richard Causey was Enron's Chief Accounting Officer. On Dec. 28, 2005, he pleaded guilty to securities fraud. In a plea deal, he got a sentence of seven years in prison that could be reduced to five years if he cooperated fully with the government. Apparently he did, as evidenced by the Lay/Skilling verdicts. He also agreed to forfeit $1.25 million.
