I was trying to figure out what to get all those hard-to-shop-for guys on my Christmas list, when suddenly it hit me...
Well, a drone could help with spying around your 'hood
A drone that drifts high above the woods
A drone is good for pryin' into homes
Then a drone can see who's there on the throne
And you need not be where it has flown
Every buddy must get drones

Well, a drone is swell for stalkin' tarts you meet
A drone will tell who's lyin' or prone to cheat
A drone will help you spot who's unadorned
A drone is great for stockin' up on porn
And you would not see your cover blown
Every buddy must get drones

A drone for when your tractor gets disabled
A drone for when viewin' dung in stables
A drone for when you're tryin' to chase a duck
A drone tool can send away woodchucks
Yeah, then you would not see their shadows shown
Every buddy must get drones

Well, a drone can preview way around the bend
And a drone is good for tellin' foe from friend
A drone will help when driving from a bar
A drone will spot policemen from afar
Yes, then you would not speed if you're too stoned
Every buddy must get drones
All right

Well, a drone for when you are chaperoned
A drone for when you are crocked or zoned
A drone is grand in case you're depraved
A drone for when you're out to misbehave
Oh, it would just be a ball to own
Every buddy must get drones

Isn't Amazon going to start delivering stuff by drone? If so, can you buy a drone there as they do sell pretty much everything. You could have a drone delivering a drone. How about Highway to the Danger Drone or Only the Dronely? There was a good South Park episode with drones in it.

Sticking with the Dylan theme, you could do “Like a Flying Drone”. We recently had a news item about using drones to deliver pizzas. Could do that one with the Temptations hit “Pizza Via Flying Drone”.

Too bad you droned on for so long...

Right on target! I had my own drone song submitted for the Friday 19th update, but it seems Chucky has been trampled to death during his traditional on-feet Christmas shopping, or something, so I fear it'll be unvisible among all the Monday 22th updates as they fill the sky.

Will a drone help me write parodies about clones?
