"Mame"

Original Performer:

Broadway musical cast

Parody Song Title:

"Cain!"

Parody Written by:

Bob Gomez

The Lyrics

The Godfather of late night TV jokes.
Guess who's the latest wingnut on Fox?
Cain!
Guess who got hired by Rupert's Murdochs?
Cain!

Who gets to comment thoughtfully
Now that Sarah Palin got the sack?

Who always looks distraught when he
Can't distinguish Libya from Iraq?

Who looks like Clarence Thomas fo' shiz?
Cain!
Who can't recall where Syria is?
Cain!

Who rants and raves so crazily,
Pizza must have crusted up his brain!

Who's gonna be the butt of jokes?
Who's got his own web link on Snopes?
Who's smokin' as a pipe of coke:
Cain!

You made Mitt Romney easy to pick,
Cain!
You make me ROFLMAO with your shtick,
Cain!

Who had Rick Perry and the Newt
Worried, not to mention John McCain?

Your 9-9-9 plan was a beaut
And it was so easy to explain!

Coherent as the Tea Party clan:
Cain!
YOU-beki-beki-beki-stan's man:
Cain!

Your mistress White of 13 years
Pretty much torpedoed your campaign--

Let's start a brand new love affair!
You've got 9 great ideas to share!
We're freakin' stoked you're on the air,
Cain!

His whole campaign was a surrealist put-on, so it only makes sense.

Bob - Parody without cheese! I like Cain, but what manner of person can't laugh when his own gets a clever skewering? Your "Cain" is able. ;D

Thanks much, John and Old Man. I think it is so healthy for us to be willing to laugh at the foibles of the rich and powerful, no matter what our politics might be. Cain's got foibles, Obama too.
