I love the musical "Hair," except for the song being parodied here, and think that the lyrics are amazingly dumb. My goal was to write lyrics as lame or lamer (lamer?) than the original.

I tried to do the same thing with this same song some time back but yours is way way more stupider. Very good indeed. 5's for you ma' lady.

But all I hear is "whiffenpoof" - LMAO! This was a really clever parody. I remember when Oliver recorded this bizarre rant of a song - "Bliddy bloop bloopy" or some such nonsense. I thought to myself "Cripes, I could write better lyrics than that!!" 'Course my baby sister was already engaged in the endeavour at the time . . . Great stuff as usual, Mari!

Excellent parody. For some reason, the whiffenpoof and PETA lines struck me as bizarrely humorous.
