The Lyrics

Many might not KTOS, which was covered by Hank Williams, Jr., Jerry Lee Lewis, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, and others. OS lyrics, with some variations at different sources, might be here. "Brokeback" was tweaked to "Brokenback" to keep the same meter/pacing as "Wolverton" in the OS, besides adding another word play to it.
They say don't go on Brokenback Mountain
If you're cruising for gay life
'Cause Clifton Clowers has a "mah-velous" grandson
But he's mighty handy with a gun and a knife

His tender hips (ripe, reeking rips) are sweeter than honey
And Brokenback Mountain protects him there
The fairies and turds tell Clifton Clowers
If new man-meat should cruise up there

All of my dreams are on Brokenback Mountain
I want his grandson for my "wife"
I'll take my chances and troll that mountain
Though Clifton Clowers, he may take my life

His fingertips (and necking nips) are sweeter than honey
And Brokenback Mountain hides him so fair
The hairys and nerds tell Clifton Clowers
If hair-dress-er should cruise up there

I'm going up on Brokenback Mountain
I'm too horny down here below
It's just not right to hide his grandson
From the sweetie who loves him so

His leather whips (and onion dips) are sweeter than honey
And Brokenback Mountain hides his bleached hair
The Marys and pervs tell Clifton Clowers
De-cor-at-er is headed there

But I don't care about Clifton Clowers
I'm gonna prance up on his mountain
I'm gonna grab the guy I love
I don't care about Clifton Clowers
I'm gonna mince up on that mountain
I'm gonna give gay guy a glove

I don't care about Clifton Clowers
I'll do him down low and above
I don't care about Clifton Clowers
I'm gonna find my "Turtle"-dove (repeat and fade)

Actually? Not!!! But, an irresistible parallel. © 2006 Tommy Turtle

White Night, if you heard this parody, "Brokenback Mountain", on the radio, I'd like to know where, when, and what station. I've never recorded it nor given anyone else permission to do so. Thanks.

Thanks, White Night. I'll look into it. There's quite a discussion going on at the message board about plagiarism: www.inthe00s.com/index.php/topic,632.0.html, so this was interesting information.
