The Lyrics

Those young whippersnappers with their iPods and their Youtubes...okay, this parody isn't crazy grandpa. It is disapproving of teenagers who just quaf pint after pint of booze until their liver files a restraining order. Or something to that effect.
Those drunk bums
I don't like those drunk bums
And those drunk bums think that they'll get laid
But they're sloshed
Out the bar they're tossed
But they won't stop being drunk bums, 'cause they're dumb

Tomorrow
Oh, they'll be here tomorrow
And tomorrow they'll get just as drunk
God help me
My peace they'll interrupt
By choosing my lap on to which they'll throw up

Try to have a nice time
In comes those dipshits
They harass you cuz they're a sleaze
Boy or girl, don't care, can't see

Drunk teens
They get drunk together
Then one farts, people leave in spades
Ev'ry day, they're like boozing drones
Buddy, why can't all these drunk bums just go home?

They are all drunk as shite
Why do they do this?
Don't know, do you? Cuz it beats me
Do they hate their livers, geez

Drunk teens
They won't drink much longer
They'll pass out, I will watch in shame
And some day, when the years have flown
Buddy, then they'll hate the drunk bums, I should know
I only know this song due to it being the theme song to the awesome show of the same name

Decent parody but it needed a few killers lines. It didn't really have any but it was a fun parody nonetheless.

It was funny, but lost steam after verse 2.

(Artistry) Such silliness, going out and getting drunk every night. I mean, who needs to go out to get drunk? Fun concept.

(Artistry) I agree with the general concensus that it was good, but need more to send it over the top. It stayed in a consistent lane throughout the entire song, and never deviated from it's path. Good job though.

The general consensus has it I'm afraid, but I'd like to expand because, well, I'm chatty this morning. (well its kinda morning anyway) As a DJ I can relate to the concept (heck, I live it daily--not as the bum but as the one who everyone thinks they'll get laid by--not trying to be funny--or pick on anyone who has hit on me who may know of my online BAD identity--I love ya'll, but don't hit on me butt drunk because the things that come out the mouth. . .I digress) Anyway, the parody just has no oomph. It works, and would be a good short recording, but I'd call it a filler (I have many--that's not a bad thing--it just isn't a top tier song, more of a middle) That said, I also think Cliff Richard is a simple early pop artist who gave very little to work with as far as our beloved parody genre goes, throwing this over the top would be difficult, IE My parody and the after parody information contains stuff I wanted to work in but really couldn't based on structure and length, so I can relate. Good, would work well as a track between two strong tracks on an album, but would not be a top single among your classics.
