Song Parodies -> "Right 'Shroom"

Original Song Title:

"White Room"

 (MP3)
Original Performer:

Cream

Parody Song Title:

"Right 'Shroom"

Parody Written by:

The Comedian

The Lyrics

Ate the right 'shroom
Now I'm trippin'
At the station

Snackproof munchies
Rold Gold pretzels
Hired starlings

Silver Norsemen
Clam town rune gleams
Indoor shark flies

Blonde kites smile
On you breathing
High contentment

I'll wait in this place, having fun with my mind
Wait, in this place, where the barrels run from Red Elves

Juice head nose rings
Goodsy cure you
At the station

Fat corn thicket
Breastless diesels
Boob shy chin glows

I walked into
Such a glad time
At the station

As I walked out
Felt my own head
Started spinning

I'll skate in the crew, when the brains come back
Fly, with Pooh, where the bladders spun some Red Elves

At the party
Psilocybin
Called to me loud

Mastication
Of some bold 'shrooms
Now I'm trottin'

Yellow tigers
Couched in sofas
Spin Cher's dark eyes

Cheese caressing
Boob-high windows
My red car sings

I'm in outer space, with a bone tree proud
Lie, sin with Quark, while the Dabo spun some Red Elves

I'm speechless!! Except for extremely good, even the music lent a helping hand. 5's

BTW, Phil ..... I'm not familiar with the Internet acronym " WHS " - what does that mean?

Johnny - "WHS" stands for "What He Said", i.e. agreeing with the comment above

Thanks, Melhi.

And thank you, Phil, for the explanation. You've added a new acronym to my lexicon, or perhaps a new lexinym to my acrocon....either way, thanks very much!

It's how I feel when i listen to Cream. I used to play this one in a band also. I have an idea that involves you, Johnnie, I may need to ask you about it off the site, as I don't want to blab. Next time my Email addr. comes up, would you be willing to shoot me a note so I can ask you about it?

Thanks Rick - sure, I'd be glad to drop you a line - say, can I find your email address on RAD & MAD's MP3 site ?

Rick D - I just sent you an email through your RAD & MAD MP3 site's email message feature....I gave you my special parody-related Yahoo email address.

Shroom enough for two hobbits maybe? ;-)

Is this any stranger than the original? Nope! I always thought, if anyone would put "tired starlings" into a rock song, it would be Paul Simon. But in this case, the Cream rose to the top!
Johnny D - January 09, 2004 - Report this comment
Thanks MP.

Johnny D - Yeah, I always liked the way the original SOUNDED, but it's hard to believe I ever thought it actually meant much of anything (but I think I did). My brother was fooling around with the words of "White Room" many, many years ago, but all I remember from his version was something about "languid outhouse". Hey, wait a minute, aren't those lyrics you posted the ACTUAL song lyrics? I mean, it's like, you know, uuhhh....all coming...uhhh....you know...back to me.....now...yeah...
