The creepy instrument heard in the second half of the song is a "musitron," not a "mellotron" as I previously said. It was played by Max Crook, who wrote "Runaway" with Del. Writing mainstream songs isn't easy. Writies parodies might SEEM to be easy, but every now and then I get a little bit writer-blocked, a total eclipse of the brain.
