The Lyrics

Thought I'd PLANT this merged parody here.
(instrumental opening)

Ho...
Well, I'm the type of guy who sees weird stuff going down.
Where pretty girls are, stores are closing all around.
She'll get 'em, she came for 'em, and she only needs a word.
She's on the heaven stairway, and she is flying like a bird.

They call me the Wonderer.
Yeah, the Wonderer.
My thoughts spin 'round and 'round and 'round and 'round.

Ho, well, there's Jimmy on my left side and there's John Paul on my right.
And Bonzo is the guy who drums behind me through the night.
And when fans ask me which song I love the best.
I say, "Who cares? I got long hair a-tumbling down my chest."

They call me the Wonderer.
Yeah, the Wonderer.
My thoughts spin 'round and 'round and 'round and 'round.

Oh, well, I roam from path to path.
And in the long run, I still care.
The piper leads me with no wrath.
And the two paths before me, they could lead me anywhere!

Oh, yeah, I'm the type of guy that winds on down the road.
I can't stay in this place, my mind's on overload.
And when I find myself, a-listening very hard
I hope right onto that path of mine, I'm Led Zeppelin's bard.

They call me the Wonderer.
Yeah, the Wonderer.
My thoughts spin 'round and 'round and 'round and 'round.

Yeah, let's roam, and let's go!

(Page's guitar manages to match the original's wicked saxophone break)

Oh, yeah, I'm the type of guy that winds on down the road.
I can't stay in this place, my mind's on overload.
And when I find myself, a-listening very hard
I hope right onto that path of mine, I'm Led Zeppelin's bard.

They call me the Wonderer.
Yeah, the Wonderer.
My thoughts spin 'round and 'round and 'round and 'round.

They call me the Wonderer.
Yeah, the Wonderer.
My thoughts spin 'round and 'round and 'round and 'round.

They call me the Wonderer.
Yeah, the Wonderer.
My thoughts spin 'round and 'round and 'round and 'round.

(repeat until fade... or until that stairway finally reaches heaven)
As a born-again doo-wopper who's recorded sacred music, Dion might not appreciate this, but he'd probably also forgive me for it.

A Zeppelin can be Led to water, but can't be made to drink, if that water's in the land of the ice and snow with the midnight sun where the stupid comments run out of gas like this one just did.
