The Lyrics

Since Wierd Al used American Pie for Episode I, I thought it fitting to also use it to wrap up the series...
A long, long time ago
In a galaxy far away
Events were coming to a head.
Young Anakin and Obi-wan
Were taking bad Count Dooku on,
A battle that wound up with Dooku dead.
But we learned of the Sith Lord's plan
To make the kid his right-hand man.
The prophecies were flying
And Padume was crying.
The kid came down with attitude
And thought his treatment pretty rude.
(Just cause you ain't a Master, dude?)
It's "bout to hit the fan

So my, my don't you fans all go cry
Even tho most of the Jedi were all fated to die.
At least we all can bid Jar-Jar a heartfelt goodbye
As George Lucas sees his ticket sales fly
And his profit margin heads towards the sky.

Soon the clones all got the word
That it's time to thin the Jedi herd.
So they carved "em up like cheese
The Jedi temple fared the same
Even the kiddies were fair game.
Tough luck, Paduwannabees
The Dark Lord then sent Anakin
To do them Feddie bozos in.
They never stood a chance
"gainst his lightsaber dance.
And as Obi-Wan dueled with the kid
(who was just doing what his master bid)
We all stood up and cheered
As Anakin's flesh got seared.
Then Obi-Wan left to birth the pair,
the Master saved Ani's derriere
Vader's rise gave us all a scare -
We're back where it all began

So now what? Tho we've hoped and we've prayed,
now it looks like the last trilogy may never get made.
(Unless, of course, it's once more time for George to get paid -
knowing that's the way the movie game's played...
just the way the movie game's played)
