The Lyrics

Nothing personal, but once the title came to mind, it just had to be done. If D & WM are offended, they can imagine that it's Ben singing about Jennifer. Or David singing about Liza, except he's not exactly a "wild man," if you know what I mean.
Bright eyes woman, gonna set my cash, gonna set my cash on fire!
Got a whole lot o' money that's ready to burn, her credit limit's gone higher!
There's a thousand on-sale items waiting out there!
She's gone shopping devil-may-care!
And I'm just a devil with pockets bare!
So, Diva, my wages! Diva, my wages!

How I wish that there wre more than 24 dollars in my bank!
And even if there were 40 more, I wouldn't get out of this tank!
Well, there's diamonds, and fur coats and a set of wheels!
A fortune that I've lost on her new deals!
All I need's a new job and a card of steel!
So, Diva, my wages! Diva, my wages!

Diva, my wages, with your face a-blushing
and your wild spending flushing all my cash down the drain!
Diva, my wages, turning home into store man
turning rich into poor man!
Yeah, I saw you once, I'll never have the cash again!

She's gonna keep on the run, she's gonna have her some fun
'til it costs me my very last dime!
When I wind up broke, well, I'll always remember
that SHE had a swingin' time!
Now, she's gonna give it everything she's got!
But then she comes home and proves to me she's hot!
And at this rate our bed will be an army cot! Ah!
Diva, my wages!
Diva, my wages!
Diva, my wages!
Diva, Diva, my wages!
Thankyaverymuch.

If that Las Vegas convention thingie idea ever comes true, it might be more than a parody... :-)

LOL, Michael ! It's just my way of stimulating the economy. Most of my shopping consists of grocery stores or errands for the kids. Not very glamourous I'm afraid. The diamonds, furs & wheels would be fun! It was a cute parody. Thank you for the mention.

Nice work. My finances are in far better standing than Ben's or David's. I wouldn't want to talley up their bills! LOL! Thanks for the mention; although come to think about it, you never thanked me for the mention I gave you. Guess you didn't like your Halloween costume. And while I'm thinking about it thanks for buying virtual lunch at Eli's Place for Steak last month. I did bring you back a virtual case of beer in gratis. How's your little buddy ?
