The Lyrics
Come and listen to my story about the thirteenth Prez.
Poor old Millard almost made the country dead.
Then one day when he was lookin for something to do,
when up came a political opponent who was very rude.
"You're terrible. You're no good. You're awful."
Well, it wasn't too long before old Millard was outta there.
The Whigs all said, "Millard, get away from here."
But then he said, "The White House is the place I wanna be!"
So in 1856, he was the American Party nominee.
James Buchanan won. Millard did terrible. He lost.
