Parody Song Title:

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

It's so tough being teenage......
There ain't no love in our relation
We really feel frustration
Need liberation

Let's hang Mom, let's tie a knot
Won't let go of this murder plot
For she ain't no Goddess Venus
Hang Mom, hang Mom, hang Mom
And don't get caught
(Dead-a, dead-a dead-a)

She said we could not watch our big T.V.
We cannot stay up late, or see pornography
(Wakin' up) We have to go to high school
(Makin' up) We can't wear clothes that make us look cool
That little woman has a lot of clout
We're no longer babies, yet we can't stay out
(Three AM) We now have hips and boobies
(With our “men”) But she treats us like newbies
Maybe (she must go)
Maybe (down below)
Maybe (Put dirt over her gra-a-a-a-ve)

Let's hang Mom, let's tie a knot
Won't let go of this murder plot
For she ain't no Goddess Venus
Hang Mom, hang Mom, hang Mom
And don't get caught
(Dead-a, dead-a dead-a)

There isn't anything she'll let us do
Smoke a cigarette, or drink a can of brew
(Suck it up) Is what she says to us
(Suck it up) She gets mad when we're cussin'
We tried the cryin', lyin' all before
She catches on, and gives us what for
(Open shut) Our punishment's unfair
(Open shut) She'll meet her end we swear
Maybe (she must go)
Maybe (down below)
Maybe (We will make that bitch pay)

Let's hang Mom, let's tie a knot
Won't let go of this murder plot
For she ain't no Goddess Venus
Hang Mom, hang Mom, hang Mom
And don't get caught
(Dead-a, dead-a dead-a)

AAAAAAHHHRRRGGGHHHH!

This is twisted. Excellent job, dude! Just get a better lawyer than we did! And get dad too!

C'mon, let's twist again
Like we did last summer
Twist in the wind
Noosed-up eye-to-ear
Do you remember when
We would choke and gurgle?
C'mon, let's twist again,
Twistin' time is here!

Can I forward this to my Spawn? She just moved out last week and I'm thinking she really would have related to this song. Oh, BTW - "empty nest syndrome"? It's such a lie! Party at my house as soon as her stuff's gone! Whoot, whoot!

Of course Ravyn. I wrote this with my daughter in mind, but I had to make the rhyme work.

All fives for your Four Seasons and one of my favorite original songs of all time. And as for the subject matter, ask my mother, and she'll tell you I can relate to it. Lyle & Eric: Did you hear the one Jay Leno told about you? He said your original murder weapon was gonna be pillows, but then they would've called you the Smothers Brothers. Johnny: I've been trying to turn "Dust In the Wind" into "Twist In the Wind" for a while, but it hasn't worked. Maybe you can do something with the title. Oedipus: Dadgum, you bad mother-- (Shut your mouth!) Zigmund: It could happen to you if you're Jung at heart! Zod: From "Superman II" in 1981 to "Star Wars Episode I" in 1999, you're getting easier and easier to beat in these big-budget films. (Terence Stamp was Zod and the outgoing Republic Chancellor.)

Excellent depiction of the generation gap (that disappears as soon as the kids have kids of their own).
