The Lyrics

Stuaht McAhthuh has infohmed us that Aussies often don't puhnounce "r" in many wuhds. That makes this title conveniently rhyme with OS title. OS has a somewhat psychedelic Indian fakir opening, two years before the Beatles began to include these influences. It was written before the city of Mecca and its region became such a troublesome topic; today, OS would probably offend many in both the Mid-East and the West. Gene Pitney passed away 05 April 06. OS lyrics here. I couldn't find a complete Midi, but these samples have the Indian fakir opening: here and here.
(Fakir fingers flute-like Indian instrument)

I live on the West side, and she lives on the East side of the street
She bounds around; found: mounds un-gowned, blinds wound, not downed,
So, soundly I pound me meat

Each ev'ning I face her window
And wait for her to undress
Watching brownstone house where that hottie lives
My peckah (peckah, peckah, peckah)
Peckah (peckah, peckah, peckah):
Caressed!

Drooling as dream goddess strips; her shapely hips are so divine
She's so immodest, see-through slips show shameless nips
Roseate, sweet rose' wine

Each ev'ning unsnaps her bra, chest
She bares, and massages breasts
Watching voyeur's view that nude body gives
My peckah (peckah, peckah, peckah)
Peckah (peckah, peckah, peckah):
Molest!

(instrumental interlude - fakir fingers frets on guitar as strings throb)

Each ev'ning I'm once again bless'd
By guest -- Baby, you're the best!
Private shows, request; window: nose is pressed;
My peckah (peckah, peckah, peckah)
Peckah (peckah, peckah, peckah):
Obsessed!

(fakir's flute instrumental coming to an end)

Stu, I couldn't think up a Yanklish rhyme for OS title other than "Decca", a record label noted for turning down a young Liverpool act called The Beatles in 1962. Without your unintended "help", this parody would not have been possible. That's another cold one I owe you, Mate. -- TT

Earth! Where ya been, buddy? Great to hear from you, because psst, uranus has been an absolute pain lately....
nice work TT, and you're right in your intro, but replace "many wuhds" with "all wuhds unless the r is on the cusp of a syllable-change" eg. barrow. so peckah definitely rhymes with mecca here, as does pecker, becker etc. and of course mcartha rhymes with mcarthur, in case you want to use that one day, and wow, I'm up to 2.5 non-Bud cold ones - getting complicated - I'm going to have to diarise this - btw 555

AFW, alvin, thanks.
Stuart McArthur, thanks for the idea and the votes, and you might find interesting the outcome of our thread at "My Shell".

dktos again, but a solid job here, especially going 'nuts' with the 'internal' rhymes in the second line. 5s.

Red Ant, thanks, and in return, I'll skip the "Jack" jokes :)

Ha! I feel no need to continuing parodying, you're covering the rhyming-syllables-with-a-disgustingly-humorous-theme niche nicely! ;) Great stuff.

Luke, thanks, and good to see you back! ... Plenty of room in this town for more of those themes, so write away... and hope you're here more often. :)
