The Lyrics

"Smurf Smitty's"

TWO TURTLES OR FREE TOYS!

I was just channel surfing when I suddenly had to go “Whoa!”
(Smurf Smitty’s, here I come!)
For an ad telling me all the details of a big promo
(Smurf Smitty’s, here I come!)
At the Grand Opening of a brand new store
That sells Smurfs keychains, dolls, and games and more

Chorus 1:
(And so I’m)
Going to Smurf Smitty’s for the big event
Going to Smurf Smitty’s big sale in a tent
Going to Smurf Smitt’s ‘cause they advertized:
“Come to Smurf Smitty’s you could win a prize!”
TWO TURTLES OR FREE TOYS!

You can buy yourself a costume and dress up like a Smurf
(Smurf Smitty’s, here I come!)
You can buy Smurfs action figures made of plastic or Nerf
(Smurf Smitty’s, here I come!)
They’ve got Smurfs lunch pails, pencil boxes, too,
They’ll even customize a Smurfs T-shirt for you!

Chorus 2:
(And so I’ve)
Gotta start for Smurf Smitty’ s – an hour’s drive for me
Gotta start for Smurf Smitty’ s, the sale starts at 3:00
Gotta start for Smurf Smitty’ s, I don’t want to be late
Gotta start for Smurf Smitty’ s ‘cause it’s 12:58
TWO TURTLES OR FREE TOYS!

I’ll have to rent a U-Haul to just haul home all the stuff I’ll buy
(Smurf Smitty’s, here I come!)
’Cause I know I’ll buy a ton altho' I'm unsure why
(Smurf Smitty’s, here I come!)
I just know I’m Smurfs-obsessed and that it all began
(When) Channel surfing serendipity made me a fan

(And so I’m)
Going to Smurf Smitty’s for the big event
Going to Smurf Smitty’s big sale in a tent
Going to Smurf Smitt’s ‘cause they advertized:
“Come to Smurf Smitty’s you could win a prize!”
TWO TURTLES FOR FREE,
TWO TURTLES OR FREE TOY-OY-OY-OYS!
© Stan Hall Actually, this parody's entire raison d'être is a single pun knowers of the orginials lyrics should spot readily. :-)

:-) Actually, I don't know squat about Smurfs but couldn't resist fleshing out the title sub that popped into my head while hearing the OS recently. Plus there's the pun from the OS want to put to, er .. timely use. ;-)
