The Lyrics

The Foxies won't like being called out, and especially in a drug-related song. But then, why should any American capable of thinking for himself give a damn what those un-American b@$+@ards think?
(instrumental opening)

One lie gets much larger.
Each one lie makes you small.
And the ones that Clinton exposed
don't seem to bother you at all.
So ask Wallace
with his ten-foot gall.

And if lying is your habits
about how did the Towers fall
tell 'em a hooker named Lewinsky
stopped Bill from making call.
Call Wallace
'cause now he feels small.

When the men on the message board
get up and tell you where to go
and the people's anger mushrooms
Bush's mind is moving slow
go ask Wallace
I think he'll know!

Because logic and proportion
have fallen loudly dead.
He's no white knight, took us backwards
to a bad dream, off in our head
remember
what the White House said:
"Alive or dead!"
"Alive or dead!"
There ain't no little white lies coming from the White House. They're all big ones. Jack Smith, Dean Reynolds, Jeremy Schaap and John Siegenthaler Jr. all became responsible journalists like their fathers. (And I'm sure I missed a few others.) If only Chris Wallace had.

Well, I like it, Michael...It's always good to use an 'Airplane song to bash hypocrisy - at least in my book...5's. I've got a 'Stones piece done that I'm nearly ready to post that I think you'll like...probably next week sometime...I'm still deciding which and how many of my "extra lyrics in the instrumental portion" to include in my written post. I make a lot of them up improv when I record my vocal overlay version so I need to transcribe and work on them still before posting.

We are fortunate that young Wallace is much more enlightened than Mike Wallace, who believes that American businesses are his enemy and that Ahmadinejad is his friend.

DD must stand for Doubly Dumb. Mike Wallace is an American hero. Chris Wallace is not the latter, and as long as he continues to rent his soul to Fox News, he is barely the former. You know, capitalism is like a lot of things: Good in moderation, bad in excess. And, under Georgie Bush, the excess is winning. It's a sad day when William Clay Ford Jr., with his record running a car company and a football team (the Detroit Lions), makes more money than Dorothy Jeter. (She's a teacher, although her son Derek has made sure she's not exactly suffering.)

You got one thing right, MP. It is unfortunate that teachers are under compensated, which is why we should privatize schools so that teachers would receive the compensation they deserve.

I'm a sucker for "logic and proportion"!

Privatizing schools means that the people running them can turn away whoever they want -- students and teachers alike. It is a sure route to a nation of people as dumb and under-educated as George W. Bush. And I don't want to hear that he went to Yale. That doesn't mean he learned anything there except drinking and fraternity pranks.

If you reject school privatization, don't complain about Dorothy Jeter being underpaid.
