Original Performer:

Parody Song Title:

"The Thinker"

Parody Written by:

Adagio

The Lyrics

You think too much
No end of worry here
You think too much
Now rest and play for a change.

You think, think,
think too much.

You think about events
That you can't change
You fried your brain now,
Ain't worth a dang.

Try doing,
Don't suppose.

Loosen up now, and go
A-shopping with me.
And on to a floorshow
Smiling we will be.

You just thought,
You just thought too much.

I need to put my LOL back in context. I'm not saying this to be nasty, Adagio--I'm laughing with you not at you--but it's a real shame that you had Chucky delete your comment saying "I didn't write this parody--please remove it" and the followup "Never mind, yes I did, I didn't see the date." That an author would write a parody called "The Thinker"--and then forget they wrote it--is humor at its best.

So how do you know who deleted what and why? What I think, thinker is that you are just laughing near her. It was probably you anonymous paranoids who are jacking around with the comments anyway. Wish you guys would make your comments as invisible as your handles. We don't need nor appreciate the juvenile games you are playing so why don't you just back off.
The Thinker - April 19, 2005 - Report this comment
There were two comments from Adagio on April 17, 2005. One said "I didn't write this parody, Chucky--please remove it" and the next one said "Never mind, yes I did, I didn't see the date." Are you saying that Adagio didn't write those comments? That it was all a big conspiracy to make people think Adagio made a mistake and then corrected it? If so, you're just as paranoid as anyone--and you're already just as anonymous.

Grow a sense of humor. It wouldn't have mattered whether it was Adagio or anyone else who forgot they wrote "The Thinker". It's still funny.
