Ironic: A lot of people think that the Garden of Eden was in Iraq. "Paradise" may have been paved long ago, but I wouldn't advise anybody to park there.

I like this a lot, though the chorus could have been varied some instead of repeated; the content is scathing and wonderful and this is a great OS to use for your message! I can picture joni Mitchell using it, especially the last verse. Very powerful.
