WOODSHOP

Well I came upon a grove of oak, they were standing along the road
And I asked them are you done growing? This they told me
Said We're floating down to the sawmill, getting' cut up into a band stand
Got to build things on the land, you need a whole tree

We are sawdust, We are oaken
We are hundred year old carbon
And we're gonna be some shelves, shed for a garden

Well than can I have some firewood? I have come to gather logs
So I can cook hot dogs with something burning
Cause baby, it's so cold this year, and maybe it that time to plan
And I need to warm that spam and that pork is turning

So I took him to the woodshed, all those logs were very long
And a cabinet I built strong while on my vacation
And I used my saws and drills and my planes, making sure it was two-ply
Hoping that if someone would buy- appreciation
