The Lyrics

This is what happens in the video game "NBA Jam."
NBA Jam just rang it true
'Cause Run & Gun thinks it's a liar
There's something that a player's doing
Score 3 baskets and he's on fire

Shoot a basket, he's on fire
Shoot a basket, he's on fire
Shoot 3 baskets, he's on fire

Is it really in the shoes?
After 2 quarters, they felt tired
There is no way the team can lose
After the game, they did retire

Score a basket, he's on fire
Score another, he's on fire
Shoot 3 baskets, he's on fire

They just put in nail in the coffin
They take no prisoners by nine
Boom-shaka-laka says it often
Just like in NBA Showtime

Score a basket, he's on fire
Score another, he's on fire
Shoot 3 baskets, he's on fire

I shoot 3 baskets in a row
I can still make some dunks, no doubt
I'll keep on playing 'til I blow
The other team puts fire out

Score a basket, he's on fire
Score another, he's on fire
Shoot 3 baskets, he's on fire
3 alley-oops gets Team Fire

I don't know why this is under Jose Feliciano/The Doors. The Doors wrote it, Feliciano covered it, so at the very least it should be The Doors/Jose Feliciano
