The Lyrics

This is partially inspired by wanting to do a 2nz-like accent parody - ('poms' is slang for English folk)
All nice poms vote for Mister Blair
though e bombs folk we just don't care
wiff that nice 'ead of hair
ow, ooh...
e's awfly luvverly

Lots of big words e likes to say
earnest facials e duz display
in guv-vunment debate
ow, ooh...
e sounds so luvverly

ow - sow - luvverly bein' absolutely ruled - by - im
we - just - like voting im IN!
and so duz Great Brit - IN

e's much bet - er than all the rest
( 'oward's Tories we do detest )
our Tone's so popu-list
that we...
think e's so luvverly

luvverly
luvverly
luvverly
luvverly

Lots of stuff e still 'as to do
write ten par-o-dies
about poo
but we're quite sure e'll do
em, AND - they'll all be luvverly

ow - we - know e won't get sad if e don't score - straight - fives
to - that - challenge he will rise!
(e's awfly awfly wise)

if e's got a legit complaint
e'll ask Chucky wot is, and aint
Chucky will set im straight
coz bofe...
of em are luvverly

luvverly
luvverly
luvverly

???...Are you postulating that ol' Tone is a regular contributor to Amiright?...Oh well, might as well 'fess up; it's me. :-) Lotsa fun, Stu...but you're accent is crappier than Affleck's career. 555

What Leo said... and congratulations on doing the parody equivalent of Dick Van Dyke's Cockney accent ;-)

Stuart, this parody is so freakin' hilarious --- especially with your cockney accent --- that I've decided to cede "Tony Blair" to you on "The neverending challenge of Jesterdays" over on the Messageboard!

To anyone who hasn't looked at "The neverending challenge of Jesterdays" recently, I had put up the following verse to follow Phil Alexander's challenge to use "Tony Blair":

Tony Blair
Horny Tories love his stony stare
For it always makes them bony where
Their Beefeaters, eat Beef-eclairs

Why... the... La-bor Par-ty is still in, I don't know
Could... it... be be-cause they're un-doing Thatcher's woes?

Thatcher's woes

But now, after seeing this ridiculously funny and brilliant "Tony Blair" parody by Stuart, I decided that I want to see Stuart write the "Tony Blair" verse instead --- maybe in his cockney accent! It'll be a lot funnier than my lame attempt, I have no doubt of that!

Congratulations, Stuart --- "Tony Blair" on "The neverending challenge of Jesterdays" is all yours, my friend! ;-)

So, Tony is Poopie. 5s. Now time to do one about another famous English Blair, Eric.

thanks Kristof - "crappier than Affleck" - you don't pull punches mate ;-)

fanks alvin

thanks Leo - I didn't realise the OS did a repeat runthrough repeating all verses until yesterday, so I had a blank canvas to work on for the second lot

LOL, Rick! and the Sun headline would be a 3-word gimme

thanks Phil - I just thought the idea of Tony Blair sitting at his desk working on his pacing for a poo parody, with the elction going on around him, was amusing

thanks JD, and great, thanks for setting me up for a fall - LOL - I did see your Blair verse - okay, but gimme a while

thanks John - is that Eric the arf-a-bee?

Kristof: "Chucky will set him straight"? Well, that lets out the would-be Charles III, 'cause he can't even seem to set Prince Harry straight! Wills, it's up to you!

thanks Luke

thanks Michael - I think you may have Kristof and me confused, unless I missed a reference (easy to do, since we're both swashbuckling Aussie Errol Flynn types - see his picture and my avatar)

thanks Catch 23 - nice to get some new readers :-)

Stuart: From what I've heard, Flynn was not someone to emulate. Do a search on "Errol Flynn" and "Spanish Civil War" and see what comes up.
