The Lyrics

I'm into '60s culture, so all shows refer to the originals, not the remakes.
I watch Bonanza it's one of my favorites,
When Mike Landon is on, my TV stays lit,
Star Trek and Get Smart and Hogan's Heroes
These are a few of the best '60s shows.

Barbara Eden is our very own Jeannie,
When she's in her bottle she looks so teenie,
Batman and Twilight Zone, Lost in Space too
I live vicariously through the tube,

Speed Racer, Underdog, and Spiderman rock,
Addams' Family, The Munsters, and Al Hitchcock,
You may say they ain't real characters, but,
I turn to them when this world drives me nuts,

And so this is,
How my song goes,
But it's not my fault,
If you think it's ill-concieved and give ones,
Into my wounds you'll rub salt..

Dick van Dyke trips on the ottoman each time,
His wife Laura in black spandex pants, so fine,
Do you recall when the Monkees were on?
It really wasn't that ago, so long.

I love the music from Hawaii Five Oh,
Mission Impossible a cool tune also,
Do you remember that show UFO,
Or the Smothers Brothers variety show?

Hollywood Squares was so great with Paul Lynde there,
The Pink Panther and the Mod Squad took big dares,
Courtship of Eddies Father and F Troop,
Where O'Roarke and Agarn make plenty of goofs.

And so this is,
How my song ends,
But it's not my fault,
If you think it's ill-concieved and give ones,
Into my wounds you'll rub salt.

Very good, but you forgot the Fugitive with David Janssen (imho the greatest drama in TV history). Also, where's the Coltrane solos? LOL

I remember learning to tell time so I would know when Speed Racer started--Good job, man.

I don't know whether this says more about Adam not keeping up with the times, or the times not being worth Adam's keeping up with them. Coltrane solos? Considering some of the least-common-denominator stuff we see on here, I wouldn't count on 'em. There are people on this site who think McCoy Tyner was the doctor on "Star Trek" and Elvin Jones plays for the Houston Rockets.
