On a dark night in Chamblee
I was driving my chevy
going to my favorite bar
when gettin closer
the car just pulled over
and parked in my usual stall

I opened the door
walked on the floor
straight to the bar I went
ordered a drink
Chardonay I think
Bonnie said,...that is money well spent.

In the mirror I saw her
fixin to holler
saying its her turn to sing
looking half sober
Bruce just looks over
hoping she buys one more drink

TV was playin
the Braves are still losin
two more drinks and I said
its time to play pool
or sing a fine tune
before the evening is spent.
