The parallel line in verse 3 goes "Let's impeach the President for hijacking." Obviously, a syllable was added. Your parody has the same feature of parallel thought. And not all of them can be expected to follow a LA-la-LA-la meter. I might have promoted your verse 3 to verse 1: Where have moral rightists gone? That way, the title line becomes in-meter.
