The Lyrics

This is for the fans of James Bond and also the mockery of "In God We Trust"
Those James Bond films of killing guys and spying things we've love
But in my mind I know they will still live on and on
But how do you thank someone who has taken you from gadgets to tough guys?
It isn't easy, but I'll try

If you wanted the sky I would write across the sky in letters
That would soar a thousand feet high 'In Bond We Trust'

The time has come for using guns and long last spies must end
And as I watch I know that I am watching from James Bond
James Bond who is from MI6 and KGB
That's a lot to watch, but what can I give you in return?

If you wanted the moon I would try to make a start
But I would rather you let me give my heart 'In Bond we Trust'

Good choice of underused but well-known song. But the message isn't clear -- there are still Bond films to come, but this sounds like its intended to be some kind of farewell to the Bond legacy...? Also, the line "The time has come for using guns and long last spies must end" doesn't make sense. Also, you use a bit too much of the original words in long stretches.
