The Lyrics

I used the film "Misery!" as my inspiration for this one. So if you havent seen it then you may be at a disadvantage....sorry
Start writing now, you have to
Paul pleading, seem to whisper "I hate you!"
Words stinging on the typewriter key
Scheme a little theme Annie...

Hey "Dirty-Bird" you diss me!
Just sit and type and bring back my mis-ry!
Why you be-moan and please the queen bee
Stream a little ream or three...

Scars fading but you linger round here
Still hoping i'll miss
I'm saying you'll hobble at dawn dear
By swinging this......

You scream till sun beams find you
your screams be-cause your ankle's behind you
May seem extreme, whatever baby
Glean a little cream from me...

Per-sauding use my finger wipe tear
Stark raving your pissed
I'm crazy your number one fan dear
Just heavenly bliss

Bad dreams till someone finds you
Bad dreams that makes you worry i'm behind you
But in your dreams whatever they be
Dream a little Mis-er-y...

Da da da dah, da da dah

the contrast between your lyrics and the gentle melody hobbled me with laughter

Not familiar with the OM (Original movie) but the OS was used in Muppet Vision 3D at Disney's Hollywood Studios (Which was one of my favorite things to go see there) So I do know the OS, but nothing beats having this OS sung by a pissed off Miss Piggy.

(AGes) Might be a bit obscure to any non-Stephen King fan, but it's lovely how you took this cheery little tune and maimed it.

(Ages) Never heard the OS, and I only vaguely know of the OB (original book), so this one kinda flew over my head. I'm sure it's scared the crap outta someone who has read the book, though.

Nice work here, tomario. "your screams be-cause your ankle's behind you" made me lol. James Caan and Kathy Bates thank you as well.

(Ages) Love the movie, and one of my favorites by you ever. Very eerie movie, and this song played into that very well. . .awesome

I was torn about this one. I love the subject and you have some brilliant moments. But some of the phrasing threw me--not necessarily for rhythm but for word choices. I'm judging in a hurry. 5-4-4.

I approve of your message. Great movie-themed parody, and great fit for the tourney.
