"Dancing In The Streets"

Parody Song Title:

"Dancing In A Sheet"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

I know I should have been more suspicious, but as soon as I saw the jello and the cheese whip, I guess I got a bit excited...................(Original song temporarily available here)
All around
the cyberworld
anybody with youtube can see it
Film of me
and my neighbour's wife
we're dancing in a sheet!
River-dancing and flamenco
and some cha-cha too
Mirror-ball is spinning!

All around us, jello
sweet jello
tubs of jello everywhere
We were swinging, swaying, and um displaying
some bits best kept discreet

oh...

It didn't matter
at the time
She did not make me aware,
when I
fervently
grabbed that girl,
she would screen
around the world
all our antics
our antics in the sheets

She'd texted "please come see her"
(she seemed sincere)
she hoped that one day we'd meet
When her husband's working
she felt like firking
and fancied a firk with me

she had mango parfaits
(gee I like those sweets)

S&M DVDs too
(made me overheat)

she didn't mention the camcorder!
(hidden in a seat)

AND there was some cheese whip
yes, cheese whip
and we sprayed it everywhere
even on the bed too
and that's what led to
our dancing between the sheets

oh...

and now the world has
seen me bare
- and her bikie husband too!
because the
dude declared
I can't hide!
anywhere!
coz me he'll FIND!

so I'm hiding
in faraway cities

Way down in Bombay
I spent days
vagrancing in its streets
then I snuck off to Oslo
coz I don't
want to become mincemeat

(and just 'tween me and you
that youtube
was quite embarrassing)

Fantastically funny, Stu... loved the whole firking storyIine... now I believe I know the origin of the phrase "really cheesy"... PS: I take back anything I ever said about 'plundering ewes!'

I know, Kristof, I've had a bad run lately - not to mention Vigdis continually nagging me to neaten up the bloody igloo - I feel like a Tooheys ;-)

thanks Phil, alvin and Syncronos (youtube may have pulled it on content-breach grounds)

thanks AFW and Jack

thanks TT - oh you're such an innocent! (............not) - and yes, the theme with Phil is that we're both competing in the decathlon comp, and this (the third) event is to write a parody of a motown song on the theme of embarrassment - you should check out the comps one day

thanks PMS - thanks TJC, and even if one person stops bagging those plundering ewes, it will have all been worthwhile

thanks Ann and MP :-)

Very funny Stuart! Youtube must be the most embrassing thing ever created since at least 3 parodies are about it in this round.
bobpiecheese - November 11, 2007 - Report this comment
(Decathlon 2.0) Filming that kind of nonsense is one thing. Putting it on YouTube is another. But the sad freaks who watch it...that's just depressing. Brilliant job yet again, Stu!
Kristof Robertson - November 12, 2007 - Report this comment
(DEC 2.3) see above. This could have as easily been set in a Ku Klux Klan disco (hmmmm, that could work...;-))

Tubs of jello everywhere was my favorite!! Nice work, Stuart...and definitely wins in the "most humiliating" category so far.
Agrimorfee - November 12, 2007 - Report this comment
Sounded more like a pretentious art film from Matthew Barney than a nasty blackmailing video! hehe...Great title change, and a great story to boot.

This reminds of the time when someone mentioned the song "Dancing in the Sheets" and I thought it was a parody of this OS on another messageboard. It wasnt so I hadt his idea, but this was 965748974358975495749574594579205495479078459074590740597454 times better than what I coulda done LOL See above

Man, now I know who to ask if I ever need to spice up a marriage! Great OS choice, and hilarious song. The first stanza had me laughing already, and it got better from there!

DEC2- Very funny stuff, Stu. Next time before you start the kinky stuff, I'd check everywhere for hidden cameras.

Looks like that camcorder got you into some really deep sheet there Stu. This is quite entertaining. Well done.

(ABC) Remnants of my previous comments about your sheets are still up on this page...
Matthias - April 20, 2009 - Report this comment
I don't think that you would be allowed to put this up on Youtube maybe Porntube or Xtube or something like that, but not Youtube. Anyways this was a very surreal sex song, Mincemeat pie? Jello? Cheese-Whip? You have some strange fetishes here buddy.
Claude Prez - April 20, 2009 - Report this comment
Great stuff Stu. The whole thing was just hilarious. I think I liked the Riverdancing best tho.
Jason - April 27, 2009 - Report this comment
(ABC-D) Very good.
Below Average Dave - April 28, 2009 - Report this comment
Still good, though a I noticed this time around a missing rhyme early on (it/sheet) won't hurt too hard, sometimes I wish we got to rank all songs first to last, this round is getting tough to judge, lots of people entering classics.
bobpiecheese - April 30, 2009 - Report this comment
(ABC4) See above.
Stuart McArthur - April 30, 2009 - Report this comment
Dave, the rhyme was actually "see it" and "sheet" which works when you pace it to the OS playing - "it" and "sheet" would be rhymescheme suicide ;-)
Jeff Reuben - May 01, 2009 - Report this comment
(ABC) Did you follow this with "Jello Dancing" to the tune of Shadow Dancing by the Bee Gees? That like made me laugh. Classic Stu, Glad you brought this back since I missed it the first time around.
Red Ant - May 01, 2009 - Report this comment
This was awesome, Stu. Very funny throughout (which I've said on numerous parodies by you), but a couldn't get a few of the lines to pace (which is a first). I'll chalk that up to the possibly differing versions of the OS (live vs vinyl, etc). The whole cheese-whip (called Cheeze-Whiz here) verse was just perfect.
Melanie Lee - May 01, 2009 - Report this comment
(ABC) Hey, not bad! A few missing syllables, but I won't hold that against you. (No pun intended.) Good laughs. 5-5-5.
