Some folks in Maine and New Hampshire still use "rubbish" But this parody isn't rubbish. Although "alcohol booze" was kind of a klunker. Is there another kind of booze? 544

I agree with all the above comments. Good write to a "tougher than you'd think" OS. Including the backing vocals would have been a plus, but a solid job here: this one is a bread winner. 5s. Didn't realize the Department of Health and Social Services exists in Britain, too: I'm a bit surprised I got that one.
Thanks Red Ant! Yea the DHSS does exist in Britian. It is now known as the DSS though, but I found it easier to include the older term DHSS in the parody.

I agree with the general public on this one, not your best, but not your worst. It was mediocre.
Gaye parody
Not bad, and really rather good in places, but there were a few lines that I simply couldn't sing along with.
(SOTM) It was funny, but pacing could have been a little tighter. . .Max--Toushee, Toushee--LOL . . .anyhow, Very good Jason, you still have some work, but you are heading in the right direction with regards to your parody writing.
SOTM - I agree that the pacing needs some help. For the most part it's pretty solid.
